Before you come at me, yes, I know that Mezcal and tequila aren’t the same thing (I’ve been to Mexico guys, don’t worry #gapyah). But, The Lost Explorer was too good to leave off! Half brand, half activist, this Mezcal brand works with a variety of amazing organisations to make sure they’re as eco and ethical as poss.

This girlboss (Bertha González Nieves) is the first woman to be certified as a maestra tequilera. She makes Casa Dragones in a way that priorities efficiency and reduces emissions, including a steam extraction process that yields more tequila from fewer agaves compared to traditional methods. Big slay.

El Sueño Tequila is made with 100% locally sourced ingredients and are ‘mixto’ (not made with 100% agave) so that they can ease pressure on agave populations, and make their tequila in as sustainable a way as physically possible!

123 Organic Tequila boasts a strong commitment to the farmers who practice historical agriculture. Their organic farming practices ensure the preservation of the land and the health of those who cultivate it. They believe in the power of organic farming to create a healthier environment and a better quality product, and thus refrain from using pesticides or harsh chemicals. The result is a smooth, silky and most importantly, sustainable tequila. Salud!
